Emily Tieu, LCSW

Under the Supervision of Daisha Roberts, LICSW

I work with young teens and young adults who are feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck. Many of the people I support are navigating school pressure, work stress, family expectations, identity exploration, or major life transitions. Even when things appear “okay” on the outside, you may feel unsure how to manage your emotions or feel disconnected from yourself and others. I enjoy working with clients who are open to self-exploration and growth, even when the process feels challenging at times.

As an Asian American clinician, I understand how cultural identity, family expectations, and lived experiences can influence mental health. I am intentional about creating a space where clients from all backgrounds feel heard, respected, and understood.

My approach to therapy is calm, collaborative, and approachable. I strive to create an environment that feels inviting and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are and feel at ease sharing your struggles. I gently guide clients toward self-awareness and growth while honoring their strengths and lived experiences.
