Major life transitions, parenthood, relationships, healing after trauma, can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself or stuck in patterns you don’t want to repeat. I’m Yesenia, a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist supporting adults and couples through trauma recovery, identity work, and relationship healing. As a first-generation Hispanic American parent, I understand the impact of intergenerational trauma, cultural expectations, and the desire to break cycles while honoring your roots. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe while building coping skills, insight, and emotional regulation.
My therapy style is direct, collaborative, and psychoeducational. I use evidence-based approaches like DBT, TF-CBT, EFT, and Couples CBT to help you develop coping skills, improve communication, strengthen boundaries, and understand why patterns keep showing up. We’ll work together to set clear goals, track progress, and create lasting change.
I treat childhood trauma, personality disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, relationship conflict, identity concerns, and attachment wounds. I work with couples, new parents, and survivors of domestic or sexual violence seeking healthier relationships and emotional regulation.
